This policy describes how Nyraa.AI (operated by Schopfer Innovations Pvt. Ltd., W-81, Block W, Greater Kailash II, New Delhi, Delhi 110048, India) collects, uses, and protects your personal data across our website and our programs. We built this policy to be plain to read: consent-first, privacy by design, and no selling of your data, ever.
1. What we collect
- Program registration: when you join the contributor program through our form or Google form, we collect the details you give us — full name, email address, and optionally your phone number.
- Contributor footage: contributors wearing Nyraa smart glasses capture first-person video of everyday tasks. This footage may include the contributor's own face, voice, and surroundings, as well as incidental bystanders and personal items visible in the background.
- Careers: when you apply for a role or send us a resume, we collect the application content you submit, including your contact details and professional history.
- Website usage: basic technical data such as browser type and pages visited, used only to understand how the site is used and to improve it. We do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site.
2. How we use your data
- To operate the programs you join — onboarding, capture sessions, quality review, and reward payouts for contributors.
- To develop, train, and evaluate embodied AI systems (Nishkaa) and robotics, which is the purpose the data was collected for and the purpose you consent to when you join.
- To respond to applications and enquiries.
- To keep the website and our operations secure and improving.
We do not sell personal data. We do not share contributor footage or registration data with advertisers. Where a lawful basis is required, our bases are consent, performance of a program you enrolled in, and legitimate interests in running and securing our services.
3. Contributor footage — specific protections
- Consent first. Capture happens only with your explicit, informed consent, and it is always revocable. You can pause, stop, and request deletion at any time.
- Structured capture. Contributors follow scenario guidelines designed to avoid capturing other people's private moments, confidential materials, or sensitive documents where possible.
- Redaction on request. Redaction workflows are built into the pipeline: you can ask for faces, documents, or scenes to be removed, and for specific clips to be deleted, and we will process that request.
- Incidental third parties. If someone appears in footage incidentally, their rights are respected: requests to us about their data in contributor footage are handled the same way as any other request.
4. Retention
We keep program data for as long as the program relationship is active. Contributors can request deletion of their registration details and footage at any time; where legal obligations (for example record-keeping or dispute resolution) require a limited retention, we say so when it applies and delete at the end of that period.
5. Sharing and processors
Contributor data is used inside our company for AI development. We may use trusted service providers to host the website and store data, bound by contractual data-protection obligations. We do not transfer contributor footage to unrelated third parties for their own use.
6. Your rights
- Access — ask what data we hold about you.
- Correction — ask us to fix data that is wrong.
- Deletion — ask us to delete your data (with the limited exceptions above).
- Withdrawal of consent — stop a program at any time; withdrawal does not affect processing that happened before.
- Portability — request a copy of your data in a common format.
- Complaint — raise a concern with us first; you also have the right to raise one with the relevant data-protection authority (in India, the Data Protection Board of India under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023).
7. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures — encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and internal review — to protect data. If you find a vulnerability, contact us and we will treat it as urgent.
8. Children
Our programs are not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our programs evolve. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
